Our Facebook Group Rules

1: Arizona Swimming Pool People Only

This group is for people that live and serve in the swimming pool industry as a profession in Arizona, USA.

2: Be Open To Learn (Thick Skinned) & Impeccable With Your Word

This group is different from other groups; we care about the industry and we will challenge you to be better. If you hurt or let someone down, you could be called out openly in the group.

*Posting in the group about a negative experience with another tech/company should be used rarely and as a last resort after private reconciliation attempts. Sharing this info can serve as a catalyst for growth for individuals and to inform others in the group in a relevant and respectful way. (See Rule #4)

Be prepared for a conversation since there are always multiple sides to every story.

Conversations in comments are not monitored closely and can get kind of rowdy, someone may hurt your feelings.

3: No Promotional Posts; Please Don't Spam

Do not offer or promote products / services / activities and/or any business info like Name, Offers, Phone Numbers, or Website in a POST or post pictures.  (Exception may be considered by admins for paid sponsors & pool partners)

Feel free to offer products/services or help when contributing as a COMMENT on an existing POST from someone asking for help.

*Everyone, feel free to offer products, services, and help with questions related to your expertise under an existing post with COMMENTS.

POSTS REQUESTS FOR HELP. Posts requesting/looking for help are ok and must include specific details of what is being requested, location information, compensation, and time frames.

4: Posts should be Relevant & Respectful

All might enjoy a little non-pool-related post now and then, but irrelevant posts or comments that are rude, vulgar, violent, inappropriate, degrading, profane or pornographic, may be removed. (100% at Moderators discretion)

*The filp/side of this rule is to try not to be offended. When people post and comment they are revealing their own character, many will be reading your words... what kind of person do you want to be. Conversations in comments are not monitored closely and can get kind of rowdy, someone may hurt your feelings.

5: Be Human, Show  Your Name

What's your name? Please request membership and participate in the group under your real name and not a company or fake name. We do not approve businesses or fictitious names as members.

*We "recommend" using your FACE as your profile picture too.

6: Do Not Harm The Community

This group was designed with the spirit of education and growth in the pool industry in mind. Although some messages are simply techs venting or making fun, most messages are sharing personal experiences not meant to be shared outside this group. All posts and messages are for our group members only.  Anyone that shares posts comments or pictures from this group with others outside of this group will be subject to removal.

7: Do Not Block Group Admins Or Moderators

The admin can still see any action you take within the group, including posts and comments. But hampers our ability to communicate and discuss any issues with you directly. Blocking Group Admins or Moderators will get you removed from the group.
